The Nuclear Energy Agency division of Radiological Protection and Human Aspects of Nuclear Safety (RP-HANS) is now looking for a Junior Social Scientist to support the work of the Agency in addressing the challenges associated with engaging with stakeholders regarding the broad range of nuclear safety, waste disposal, radiation protection, and related issues. This position will integrate multidisciplinary perspectives of societal complexities into the RP-HANS Programme of work. This work will be informed by the lessons learnt from past experiences including the aftermath of the Fukushima Daiichi NPP accident. S/he will work under the supervision of the Head of the Division of Radiological Protection and Human Aspects of Nuclear Safety (RP-HANS) and co-operate closely with other NEA divisions as required.
